Job Summary
Operate company-owned vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. to deliver products within a 150-mile radius, maintaining vehicles through daily inspections and routine checks. Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or dollies at warehouses and delivery sites, while obtaining signatures and processing payments as required. Prepare delivery documentation and reports, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Perform warehouse functions including order pulling, packing, and tagging when needed. Maintain a Class C license, pass a DOT drug screen and medical exam, and work overtime or weekends as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience
- Previous experience driving a 16' or 26' box truck
- Possess a Class C license
- Minimum age of 21 (as per D.O.T. regulations)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and DOT drug screen post offer acceptance
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to travel as required
- Possess excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Highly motivated and capable of working independently
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Successfully pass and maintain a D.O.T. medical exam
