Job Summary
As Driver/Inside Sales Representative, you will drive and deliver gas products with a well-maintained vehicle while professionally representing Messer to local customers, and also perform inside-sales duties such as order preparation, customer service, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include loading/unloading cylinders (5 or 10 ton trucks), maintaining load sheets and daily cylinder records, processing deliveries and invoices in SAP, handling inventory balances, ensuring regulatory compliance (government regulations, WHMIS/TDG as applicable), and upselling to increase counter sales. The role requires a valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brakes, 1 year of driving experience (or 3 years driving experience with training), a minimum of Grade 12 education, a clean driving abstract, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort with computers. Assets include knowledge of the gas/welding industry and WHMIS/TDG certification.
Required Qualifications
