Driver II Line Haul

Line Haul Driver II at Lowe’s: Drive line haul routes between branches and deliver merchandise to Pro customers, coordinating with branch managers to plan schedules and working with the sales team to provide on-site customer engagement. Responsibilities include planning delivery activities, printing loading tickets, delivering merchandise on schedule, supporting warehouse tasks as needed (pulling, checking, stocking), making time-sensitive routing decisions to optimize deliveries, verifying vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicle and equipment cleanliness and maintenance, and adhering to safety and DOT regulations. In addition to line haul duties, responsibilities may include apartment-delivery (IAD) as directed, delivering and unloading within apartment buildings per customer direction, and collaborating with sales to address customer issues and improve service. Requires independent decision-making, physical ability to move throughout facilities, and the ability to work flexible shifts with potential overtime. Proficiency with loading procedures, route coordination, and on-site customer service is emphasized, along with safety compliance and coordination with multiple departments to ensure efficient and coordinated service.
