Job Summary
Driver II, CDL role operating a 26,000+ lb commercial vehicle to safely deliver, relocate, and set up modular buildings and Value-Added Products (VAPS). Independently manage site assessments, secure transport, and installation/teardown with focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load securement, navigating diverse routes and customer sites, coordinating with dispatch and field teams, on-site placement and upsell of VAPS, and acting as the primary customer liaison during delivery and setup. Must follow DOT/TC rules, maintain safe operations, and document delivery status using digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid CDL license and a clean driving record with no major violations
- An up to date DOT or TC and Physical card is required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using digital tools for routing, logging, and communication (e.g., GPS, electronic logs).
- Demonstrated ability to assess and navigate varied delivery environments.
- Prior experience in commercial driving and load security.
