Job Summary
Class C Driver/Warehouse role in Sumner, WA. Responsible for loading and unloading, securing items, verifying shipping papers, delivering orders via efficient routes, maintaining and communicating about deliveries, collecting feedback to improve service, upholding safety and DOT compliance, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and performing occasional warehouse/counter duties; requires reading and following procedures, strong customer service, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Able to read a map and plan routes
- Reading and understanding shipping documents
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Experience with forklift operation or certification within 60 days (preferred)
- Minimum six months related warehouse experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- DOT rules and regulations knowledge
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in documenting deliveries
- Ability to operate forklifts in OSHA-compliant manner
