Job Summary
Deliver meals to elderly, homebound, and senior center clients within the 10:30am – 1:30pm timeframe, accurately counting items and maintaining vehicle food safety. Mark delivery confirmations, report client condition changes to Client Services, and call 911 immediately if indicated. Safely operate a fleet vehicle while obeying Texas Administrative Code guidelines and performing weekly safety checks. Maintain a clean, sanitary environment and develop positive relationships with clients. Be available for route adjustments due to emergencies. Requires a valid driver's license, familiarity with San Antonio, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination
- Must be comfortable with the elderly and be sensitive to their needs
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to count
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate instructions effectively
- Must have reliable, personal vehicle
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving record
- Applicable insurance coverage required by the company policy
- Team player with the ability to work independently
