Job Summary
Deliver products from local warehouse to customers on a specified route; plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise according to schedule to ensure on-time delivery of orders. Utilize hand-held device to capture signatures for all deliveries. May support warehouse operations (pulling, checking, stocking). Verify daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle condition. Escalate customer complaints and ensure safety and compliance guidelines are followed. Partner with sales and other departments to ensure efficient customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1-2 Years Experience with box truck driving; Gross Vehicle Weight ranging from 14,500 lbs. to 26,000 lbs.
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations (if applicable)
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
