Job Summary
Driver I delivers products from the local warehouse to customers on scheduled routes, plans delivery activities, uses a handheld device to capture signatures, and performs loading/unloading as needed. Responsibilities include conducting daily vehicle inspections and maintaining vehicle and equipment, resolving customer concerns, coordinating with sales and other departments for efficient service, and adhering to safety and DOT regulations. The role may support warehouse tasks such as pulling, stocking, and housekeeping, requiring attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to operate power equipment and lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1-2 Years Experience with box truck driving (GVW 14,500 lbs. to 26,000 lbs)
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations (if applicable)
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
- Delivery Drivers may work flexible shifts, with voluntary and scheduled overtime as needed
