Job Summary
Driver I, CDL role involves safely transporting modular buildings and storage containers using heavy commercial vehicles (26,000+ lbs), with on-site customer coordination, installation of Value Added Products (VAPS), and delivery to varied locations. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, securing loads with tie-downs and rigging tools, planning delivery routes, communicating with dispatch, conducting site assessments for terrain and access, and serving as the customer-facing representative during delivery while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT/TC regulations. Requires CDL license, clean driving record, DOT/TC card, and High School Diploma/GED/CAEC; 1+ year related experience preferred; Local, Home Daily delivery with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid CDL license and a clean driving record with no major violations
- An up to date DOT or TC and Physical card
- High School Diploma/GED/CAEC
- Years of related experience: 1+
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
