Job Summary
Deliver dialysis products to home patients and clinics while ensuring accuracy on all paperwork and maintaining customer relations. Perform rotating stock and inventory checks, obtain customer signatures for pickups, and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections. Unload and load freight according to DOT regulations, including hours of service and GVW limits, while operating material-handling equipment safely. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and cleanliness, report pertinent site issues, and participate in monthly compliance training. Operate on-board computers and paperless DOT logs, identifying route improvements for management. Perform duties with a focus on achieving OSHA-related targets for recordable incidents and lost time incidents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 0 – 1 years of related experience
- Ability to learn functionality and operate on-board computers paperless DOT logs and/or electronic capture applications
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Must possess a Class A or Class B commercial license
- Prefer possession of a HazMat endorsement
- Experience with on-board computers paperless DOT logs
- Experience with Routing software/fleet management and on-board fleet management systems
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor at all times
- Strong customer service skills
- Heavy work with frequent lifting and carrying of objects 25 -75 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Some deliveries may require carrying product up multiple flights of stairs
- Requires extended periods of sitting standing and walking
- Operation of commercial vehicle may average 6 to 11 hours per day
