Job Summary

Reviews paperwork and verifies counts for all items to be transported, then safely and efficiently loads and unloads items using the company vehicle. Safely and efficiently transports required items to destinations while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upholding maintenance schedules. Accurately completes all required paperwork and maintains deliver logs and trip records in accordance with DOT and company policies. Supports inventory control by assisting warehouse staff when deliveries are not in progress. Adheres to all safety protocols, including handling sensitive or high-value manufactured parts, and maintains an excellent driving record. Daily travel required from ME, NH, MA to home.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational and customer service skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player
  • Understand and obey safety requirements
  • Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs or more
  • Frequently required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Daily travel in company provided work van from ME, NH, MA - back home daily

Desired Qualifications

  • Forklift certification is preferred
