Job Summary
Safely load, move, and deliver product while performing pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, and cleaning/lubricating the crane. Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks, strictly adhering to all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation. This role requires a valid Class 1 CDL (West) or AZ license (East) with a clean driving abstract and the ability to lift 80-100lbs repeatedly. Compensation is $30-32 per hour. Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for Exterior Building Supply, supports contractors, home builders, developers, and homeowners with roofing, siding, and building envelope materials across 50+ locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 1 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)
- Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ license and clean driving abstract (East)
- Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
- Strong customer service skills
- Authorized to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Load securement training (can be provided)
- Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
- First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
- Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
- Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
- Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
