Job Summary
Transport residents and groups to appointments, life enrichment activities, meal service, and other locations on or off the community grounds. Assist residents with vehicle entry/exit, walkers, wheelchairs, medical records, and personal items; escort residents into or out of locations as needed. Coordinate transportation vehicle service appointments with maintenance staff, supervisors, and vendors. Accommodate pick-up and drop-off of community vehicles for service appointments. This part-time day shift role requires a Class B or C CDL and adherence to all road and safety rules. Physical duties include extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, plus lifting and carrying light to heavy objects.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the Department of Transportation's physical requirements for a commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Class B or C certified driver's license (CDL)
- Ability to see and hear within established parameters
- Variation of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers required to manipulate objects and use various types of office and computer equipment
- Physical stamina to lift, push, pull, carry, or move a light to heavy objects as required to perform job duties
- Must be available for weekend shifts
