Driver/HME Technician (Lenexa, Kansas)

Job Summary
Deliver and set up durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, and other assistive devices) to patients using company vans; assist with equipment demonstrations for patient use and satisfaction; support warehouse duties (unloading/restocking, equipment checks, cleaning); maintain accurate delivery logs and patient documentation; communicate with dispatch, patients, and caregivers regarding delivery schedules and special needs; perform routine vehicle checks and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Insurance and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment (must be able to pass 50 lb. lift test)
- Ability to read maps
- Strong communication and customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently
- DOT certified or ability to become DOT certified (Certification provided after hire)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Prefer candidates who live within a 30 minute drive of Lenexa, Kansas
