Job Summary
Unload and check product quality at customer locations, rotating and inspecting produce. Drive to different sites to assist the driver with deliveries. Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order and handle any customer complaints professionally. Follow written driver safety rules, perform pre-trip inspections, and manage company equipment properly. Work in a cold warehouse environment, handling loads up to 80 pounds, climbing on and off the truck box, and operating in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
- High School or GED or equivalent
- Handcart and electric pallet jack experience
- Proven ability to communicate articulately
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Knowledge of the product delivery schedule
- Ability to rotate and check the quality of produce
- Ability to move product up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move product up to 80 pounds (infrequent)
- Ability to climb on and off the box of the truck
- Ability to bend, squat, push and pull
- Ability to work in a cold warehouse environment
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, rain, and extremely cold temperatures)
