Job Summary
Assist drivers to ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries of GFS products while building courteous customer relationships. Complete check-ins without errors, collaborate with management and drivers to communicate concerns, and provide assistance with paperwork including register and credits. Perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 80 lbs, collect payments accurately, safeguard company funds, and maintain equipment by monitoring reefer temperatures and reporting mechanical issues. Obtain a Class 1 license within three months of employment through the GFS MELT Program. Work a 3 x 12 floater schedule starting at 4:30 AM in Kamloops, BC, with availability on weekends and statutory holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, pushing and pulling tasks up to 80lbs
- Have a valid class 5 license
- Must obtain class 1 learners within 3 months of employment
- Availability on weekends and statutory holidays
Desired Qualifications
- obtain a Class 1 license, if not currently licensed
