Job Summary
Driver Helper needed to assist drivers with loading/unloading, load aircraft per airline and DO & CO specs, perform vehicle checks, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and food-safety standards while supporting a team in New York-area operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet TSA regulations to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ), per 49 CFR §1542.209
- Minimum 1 year of experience in loading, offloading, or related logistics operations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather and high-noise environments
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 75 pounds and work at heights of up to 25 feet
- Able to perform physical duties for extended periods (8+ hour shifts)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, holidays
