Job Summary
Driver Helper at Builders FirstSource assists Driver in delivering customer orders, loading/off-loading product, and may drive a pilot vehicle for oversize loads. Responsibilities include loading and securing product, inspecting and maintaining delivery vehicles, planning work to meet productivity goals, and following safety procedures. Requires good verbal and written communication, ability to read maps/routes, customer service skills, and knowledge of motorized/non-motorized material handling equipment; valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience performing these or similar tasks
- Valid driver’s license
