Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, scan daily routes, and assist drivers with navigation and freight delivery. Utilize manifests to pull routes, stage freight, and perform material handling duties including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while identifying overages, shortages, and damages. Ensure timeliness, packaging accuracy, and adherence to TSA and OSHA guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and work extended periods standing or walking. Read and follow detailed instructions while maintaining secure work environments.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
- Must possess good customer service skills
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
- Must have the ability to work well with others
- High attention to detail required
- Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
- Ability to read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to ensure safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ability to regularly use a phone and a PC
- Ability to read and write of various shipping documents
