Job Summary
Load and unload the truck, scan daily routes, and assist the driver with navigating to deliveries and carrying freight into business or residence destinations. Perform other duties as assigned, including using pallet jacks and forklifts to move up to 50 pounds. Work M-F in 4x10 hour shifts with a rotating schedule providing one day off per week. Requires ability to lift 75 lbs, read maps, and handle shipping documents while maintaining good customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted
- Must possess good customer service skills
- High School or better
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ability to regularly use a phone and a PC
- Ability to read and write of various shipping documents
- Shift is M-F, 4x10 hour days
- Schedule rotates so the team members will get one day off during the week
