Job Summary
Deliver chemical and detail goods to predetermined customers on specific routes while analyzing addresses, determining routes, and maintaining schedules. Conduct pre-departure vehicle inspections, pack and load products according to specifications, and unload goods per client or final mile program guidelines. Stock customer backroom shelves, review orders before and after delivery, and obtain confirmations. Ensure safe operation of Class A or B CDL vehicles transporting hazardous materials, maintaining accurate shipping papers and compliance with transportation laws. Provide exceptional customer service, address concerns, and report accidents immediately. Perform overnight travel up to three nights per week and occasional facility travel for temporary backfill. Maintain driving logs, vehicle performance forms, and organized, clean vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work
- Clean Driving Record
- CDL
- HAZMAT endorsement
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
- Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods of time
- Travel required
- Will require heavy lifting (lifting greater than 55 pounds)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience preferred as a Delivery Driver
- Drivers under 1 year of experience are required to have ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) certification
