Job Summary
Operate a vehicle safely to transport patients and family members between hospital locations, reading maps to determine direct routes. Effectively communicate with guests, demonstrate sensitivity to their needs, and present a professional image through dress and hygiene. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cleanliness checks, documenting operating conditions and notifying managers of issues. Accurately record passenger statistics and mileage data while maintaining regular attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies. Use a portable radio to receive and respond to transportation requests, and may deliver mail or supplies as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Maintains current Heartsaver CPR-AED Certification
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier's requirements and standards
