Job Summary
Operate delivery vehicles safely and deliver complete, accurate shipments to customers while adhering to assigned routes and schedules. Load and unload goods, ensuring products are properly secured, and receive, store, and ship inventory per company procedures. Provide professional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving warehouse-related issues through coordination with customer service. Maintain accurate system records, complete delivery paperwork including logs and mileage reports, and perform routine vehicle inspections. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 100 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment background screening, which includes review of criminal history, motor vehicle records, and a drug screening
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others and exchange accurate information
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to distinguish sound and perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Must be able to perform all the essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to operate GPS devices and other navigation tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
