Job Summary
PTI Van Driver responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members to requested destinations. Responsibilities include promoting safety, maintaining on-time performance, picking up/dropping off customers, providing excellent customer service, communicating with Dispatch Center, opening/closing doors for crew, reporting defects or missing items found during vehicle inspection, and following company policies. Must be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, have 3 years driving experience, pass post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check, arrive within 30 minutes to the branch, and possess a DOT medical card. Starting hourly pay is $14.72 for DYV drivers and $15.42 for OTR drivers (location-specific rates).
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related)
- Pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check
- Arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes
- Have a medical DOT card (or obtain one upon hire)
