Job Summary
Chauffeur residents to activities and events while maintaining the company vehicle and assisting with light maintenance tasks like cleaning and trash removal. Establish and monitor weekly transportation schedules, ensure resident safety during boarding and vehicle motion, and report any safety or health concerns immediately to the supervisor. Pick up and deliver errands as requested, keeping the vehicle clean and operational. This part-time role supports resident-centered programs and requires a clean driving record, valid license, and ability to lift 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check
- Valid drivers' license sufficient to drive the company vehicle
- Valid CDL license if required
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely
- Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of people, associates, and residents
- Freedom from communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to follow directions
