Job Summary
Chauffeur residents to activities and events while maintaining the company van and performing light maintenance tasks like cleaning and trash removal. Establish and monitor weekly transportation schedules, pick up and deliver errands, and ensure resident safety during vehicle entry, exit, and motion. Report any safety or health concerns immediately to the supervisor and assist with resident-centered activities as assigned. Work part-time with daily pay, PTO, and health benefits. Must hold a valid driver's license, possess basic mechanical skills, and meet physical requirements for lifting and standing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check
- Valid drivers' license sufficient to drive the company vehicle
- Valid CDL license if required
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely
- Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of people, associates, and residents
- Freedom from communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be able to bend
