Job Summary
Chauffeur residents to activities and events while maintaining the van and ensuring safety during entry, exit, and motion. Establish and monitor weekly or daily transportation schedules, pick up and deliver errands, and assist the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments with light tasks like cleaning and trash removal. Report resident health or safety concerns and mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately. Work part-time with daily pay, PTO, and health benefits. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, and possess basic mechanical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check
- Valid driver's license sufficient to drive the company vehicle
- Valid CDL license if required
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate a vehicle safely
- Interpersonal skills to work with various levels of people, associates, and residents
- Free of communicable disease
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Ability to follow directions
