Driver (Full-Time/Mon. - Fri., 8:00A - 4:30P)

Driver (Full-Time, Mon. - Fri., 8:00A - 4:30P) provides transportation services to PACE participants under supervision. Responsibilities include ensuring safe vehicle operation and compliance with state motor vehicle regulations, monitoring safety during transport, performing vehicle safety checks and maintenance, safely escorting and caring for participants, providing basic life-saving measures in emergencies, and assisting participants with getting in and out of the vehicle. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license with auto liability insurance, and prior experience transporting elderly populations; direct patient care experience is preferred. The role involves sitting most of the time with periodic standing/walking and handling up to 50 lbs, and may involve exposure to bodily fluids.
