Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to transport clients and facility visitors while complying with local traffic regulations and DOT safety standards. Regulate passenger comfort systems, load or unload baggage, and assist clients with entry and exit. Perform miscellaneous errands including store runs and mail delivery, and maintain vehicles in clean, polished, and operating condition. Make overnight drives and extended trips requiring irregular hours, reporting any delays or accidents immediately. Meet and greet all clients professionally, answer orientation questions, and uphold a drug-free work environment. Requires a valid MA driver's license, insurable record, and at least two years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid MA Driver's License
- Insurable driving record
- At least 2 years previous commercial driving experience
- Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret written information
- Ability to write clearly and informatively
- Ability to edit work for spelling and grammar
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively
- Ability to listen and get clarification
- Ability to respond well to questions
- Ability to demonstrate group presentation skills
- Ability to participate in meetings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge of Outlook
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work holidays
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at a time
