Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and can transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students; benefits include competitive compensation per person, partial housing and meals, comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, relocation assistance, and paid time off. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans, and eligibility for two-spouse employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to mentor youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated experience with youth or volunteering with youth
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
