Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus to supervise and support groups of 8–13 students in on-site homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental activities, daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with eventual placement into a permanent houseparent assignment with the same student group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Committed to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
