Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to reside on campus at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. This is a two-person role requiring both spouses to apply individually and meet stated qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, two-person role and married for at least two years
- Spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
