Job Summary
Full-time two-person Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting/reporting. Initially on a nine-days-on / three-days-off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768, total ~${"168,000"} per couple), comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
