Job Summary
Two-person married couple full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA.Responsibilities include supervising 8–13 students, mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational programs, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
