Job Summary
Full-time two-person on-campus houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA and Glendale, UT. Houseparents reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role follows nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a settled Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation per couple (~$168,000), relocation assistance, training, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
