Job Summary
Two-person, fully off-campus-on-campus role as Flex Houseparents living in student homes at Milton Hershey School. Couples provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental and recreational activities, administer medications, oversee household routines and budgeting, and lead daily devotions including Sunday Chapel. The position starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed home with the same student group, and includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with drive-van certification, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free, alcohol-free campus environment; both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
