Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on-campus in student homes with 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and spiritual/character development through daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include budgeting and reporting, managing household schedules, planning developmental and recreational activities, and transitioning from initial houseparent assignments to a Placed Houseparent role. Requires on-campus residence, nine days on / three days off schedule, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with a smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free campus. Benefits include salary per person with total compensation for couples around $168,000, relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for couples married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
