Driver- Food and Nutrition Services (4.5 hours per day)

Driver – Food and Nutrition Services for Grand Rapids Public Schools. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Food & Nutrition Services storage area and district food delivery system, delivering food and supplies daily to appropriate schools, coordinating driver absences, maintaining records, scheduling routine vehicle maintenance, and assisting with ordering and HACCP standards. Must interact with staff, administrators, students, parents, and the community in a positive, cooperative manner. Requires high school diploma or GED and a valid Michigan driver’s license (with good driving record); preferred qualifications include prior experience driving large vehicles and proficiency with Windows-based computer systems. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate leadership/training skills, and participate as part of a team. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and indoor work environment; nondiscrimination statement applies. Position is part-time (4.5 hours per day) and located in Grand Rapids, MI.
