Job Summary
PTI Van Driver responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members to locations as requested by railroad customers. Responsibilities include promoting and practicing safety, prioritizing on-time performance, picking up and dropping off passengers safely, providing excellent customer service, communicating with Dispatch, opening/closing doors/hatches, reporting defects or issues found during vehicle inspection, and adhering to company policies. Training is provided and benefits include health insurance options, paid vacation, 401(k), growth opportunities, and daily home time. Requires 21+ years old, valid license with clean driving record, minimum 3 years driving experience, successful post-offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check; no heavy lifting, on-the-job training, and home every day.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related)
- Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check
- Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance is achieved
