Job Summary
Safely operate a company box truck to deliver office products, furniture, janitorial supplies, and workplace essentials to customers throughout the Chicagoland area. Load and unload deliveries while ensuring products arrive safely, perform daily vehicle inspections, and verify shipments with customer signatures. Follow assigned routes and schedules, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel. Full-time Monday-Friday position with no weekends or on-call rotation. Located in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous route delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move products throughout the workday
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Experience delivering products in a distribution or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with handheld scanners or delivery technology
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Experience operating a box truck
