Job Summary
Drive center vehicles, transporting non-residential students to and from the center, work-based learning, off-center training, activities, and medical/dental appointments. Maintain center vehicles in a clean and safe manner while performing accurate and timely recording and reporting. Model, mentor, and monitor the positive normative culture of the center by reporting violations of ethical behavior. Obtain a chauffer's license within 150 days of employment, holding a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience as a driver
- General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions
- Ability to promote the Career Success Standards (CSS) by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students when necessary, and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain chauffer's license within 150 days of employment
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
- I-9 documentation required to verify authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
