Job Summary
CDL A Driver for Empower Rental Group in Douglasville, GA, responsible for transporting rental equipment to customer job sites and locations, loading/unloading and securing transit equipment, relocating units as needed, and performing basic maintenance. Maintains safe driving practices, completes DOT logs per FMCSA requirements, adheres to Hours-of-Service regulations, and travels occasionally overnight for long-distance deliveries. Prioritize customer service with professional appearance and demeanor, communicate with branch and customers about delivery/pickup status, and report maintenance needs promptly. 1 year of commercial driving experience and a valid CDL A license required.
Required Qualifications
- Current, Valid CDL A Driver’s License
- 1 Year of Commercial Driving Experience
- Firm understanding of the Company’s driving policies and the rules of the road
- Defensive driving skills
- Maintains a clean driving record
