Job Summary
Deliver material and manage warehouse operations by pulling stock to fill orders, shipping and receiving, and maintaining site inventory. Unload vendor trucks, inspect materials for quality requirements, and stock items to shelves or bins using a predetermined sequence. Assemble customer orders, package them per specifications, and load materials onto trucks using forklifts or overhead cranes. Prepare shipment documentation and enter inventory data into the SIMS system while maintaining cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies. Requires a valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
- Must have acceptable driving record at all times
- Must have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card upon hire
- Ability to learn MRC Global, federal, health, and safety regulations
- Ability to learn MRC Global sales and operational business processes
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Good reading skills
- Ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently
- Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines & expectations
- Ability to understand and comply with the Code of Conduct
- Ability to understand and comply with Conflict of Interest guidelines
