Job Summary
Driver (DOT-CDL) responsible for fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department and coverage for specialty appointments during downtime, providing transportation for clients to/from home to PACE Center facilities and specialty appointments, and ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations. Requires California Class B license with P endorsement, minimum two years of driving experience, and BLS certification; preferred experience with geriatric populations. Compensation starts at $25.75 hourly with potential bonuses, benefits include health, retirement, Paid Time Off, and other programs.
Required Qualifications
- A current State of California Class B driver’s license (with P endorsement for multiple passengers)
- clean driving record within the past 3-years
- minimum two years of driving experience
- experience working with geriatric and/or frail elderly populations preferred
- ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit
- valid BLS certification or higher (AHA or Red Cross guidelines)
