Job Summary
Join Star Nursery as a Driver responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport aggregate and nursery products. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with the required class A and/or endorsements, complete a pre-employment drug screening, and pass a background check. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation, at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience for CDL drivers, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Key responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, adhering to road safety regulations, maintaining paperwork, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with necessary class A and/or endorsements
- No current driving record suspension or revocation
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Pass a Pre-employment background check
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test(s) in the last 5 years
- Provide all DOT/FMCSA required documents
- Reliable personal transportation
- Minimum of 2-year verifiable driving experience for CDL drivers
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull at least 50 lbs
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, bend, kneel and/or climb
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions
