Job Summary
Driver / Data Collector responsible for collecting high-quality street-level imagery across EU countries using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidar. Follow pre-assigned routes focusing on public streets and points of interest; revisit areas as needed for weather conditions to ensure image quality. Data collected is stored on onboard computers and later used to enhance a leading online mapping platform. Role requires valid EU driver’s license, clean background check, minimum 5 years of driving experience, professional driving experience, fluency in English and the local language, tech-savvy with Google Workspace tools, basic vehicle-mechanics knowledge, and a track record of responsibility and reliability. Project duration is 3–6 months with full-time engagement (8 AM–7 PM). Recruitment steps include a safety driving test, recruiter interview, and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a valid EU-issued driver’s license
- Maintains a clean background check (criminal and driving record)
- Has at least 5 years of driving experience
- Possesses professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics)
- Proficient in English and the local language
- Tech-savvy, with experience using GSuite tools (Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics
- Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and professionalism
- Enjoys traveling and exploring new places
- Familiar with the area of operations
- Willingness to work within standard business hours (8 AM - 7 PM)
- Ability to follow pre-assigned routes and collect high-quality visuals
- Use of removable 360° cameras and lidar equipment
- Data storage on onboard computers (SSD Drives)
