Driver - Crude Oil

Job Summary
Drive and operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank to safely transport crude oil from the field to pipeline injection points or refineries. Open and close valves to manage product flow, climb storage tanks to gauge volume, and test product using on-board centrifuges. Record sediment, water percent, temperature, and gravity; log volume and lease site activity into a hand-held computer. Prepare daily reports, inspect truck and tank for safety concerns, and report hauled volumes for accounting. Adhere to applicable D.O.T. regulations and safety programs. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Tank and Hazardous Materials endorsements, two-plus years of driving experience, and a clean driving record. Hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- valid class A CDL with Tank and Hazardous Materials endorsements (X)
- pass a pre-employment DOT medical exam
- pass DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings
- driving record which contains no more than two (2) moving violations during the previous three (3) years
- read, write and speak fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Two plus years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience preferred
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) card preferred
