Job Summary
Drive residents to and from appointments according to the transportation schedule and facility needs using designated vehicles. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles and ensure paperwork is dropped off at physicians' offices and returned to the nurse's office. Inspect the car daily for safety issues and act as a supportive member of the wellness team to encourage resident independence. Perform these duties during PRN shifts from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no weekends, evenings, or holidays. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to speak English fluently. Country Meadows, a family-owned private company in Hershey, Pa., has served seniors for over 30 years.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- No major traffic violations over the past 3 years
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
- Ability to perform under emergency situations
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
