Job Summary
Operates community-owned cars, passenger vans, and cargo vehicles to transport residents and materials, and provides high-quality, person-centered service. Responsibilities include inspecting, servicing, and cleaning vehicles; fueling (gasoline/diesel) and checking fluids; interacting positively with residents, families, visitors, and staff; performing routine shop and service-area cleanup; and conducting pre-trip inspections. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and three years of driving or equivalent experience; must be able to drive a manual transmission and navigate using maps and directions. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Three years of car or small van driving or equivalent vehicle experience
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with residents and other partners
- Ability to locate places using maps and written/verbal directions
