Job Summary
Driver for a senior living community responsible for safe operation of community vehicles on outings and resident transportation. Must assist with loading/unloading residents, follow state and federal driving laws, perform vehicle inspections, maintain safety standards, and support activity staff during outings and events. Requires a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement, HS diploma or equivalent, and being 21 or older. Candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills, and be prepared for background checks, health screenings, and possible vaccination requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus
- Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
- Vaccination may be required per regulatory guidelines
